Stacks Overview

A stack is a named list of skills stored as a JSON file in ~/.kenji/stacks/. Stacks let you define a reusable set of skills and install them all at once into any project.

Why use stacks

Instead of installing skills one by one across multiple projects, you define a stack once and install it wherever you need it. Stacks are also exportable, so you can share them with teammates or commit them to a repository.

Mixed sources

A stack can contain skills from multiple sources — registry entries, GitHub repos, tree URLs, and locally installed skills can all coexist in a single stack.
